Host family quality assurance

  • All families complete a government criminal history check to ensure the safety of our guests.
  • All homes are inspected to ensure cleanliness and appropriate furnishings and facilities are in the environment.
  • Families complete an orientation program to ensure cultural awareness of new students.
  • Host family social activities are organized for all guests.
  • We conduct ongoing quarterly reviews of the hosting experience by both family and guest.

Our host families have lovely homes!

  • Some families have new homes, some have older homes.
  • Some families live close to school, some live in the beautiful hinterland.
  • Many homes have pools and most homes have computers and internet.

Student rooms

  • Long term students have their own private rooms.
  • All rooms have a bed, wardrobe and desk.
  • Sometimes students share rooms on short term study tours.
