Robina State High School has over 100 families who want to host international students in their homes. We match students to the sort of families they request.
We have many different sorts of families, but one thing about them is the same – they are all kind and friendly.

Host family quality assurance
All families complete a government criminal history check to ensure the safety of our guests.
All homes are inspected to ensure cleanliness and appropriate furnishings and facilities are in the environment.
Families complete an orientation program to ensure cultural awareness of new students.
Host family social activities are organized for all guests.
We conduct ongoing quarterly reviews of the hosting experience by both family and guest.
Our host families have lovely homes!
Some families have new homes, some have older homes.
Some families live close to school, some live in the beautiful hinterland.
Many homes have pools and most homes have computers and internet.
Long term students have their own private rooms.
All rooms have a bed, wardrobe and desk.
Sometimes students share rooms on short term study tours.
