Our school

“Future- proofed” students in a globally-minded school of the future – stem programs and partnerships, language study, diverse senior schooling pathways , focus on literacy, numeracy and wellbeing. All young people that walk into robina state high school will be included, will be supported and will be part of our community.

Robina State High School opened in January 1996 and, since this time, has enjoyed an excellent reputation for its programs and outcomes. Robina State High School offers a unique learning environment where students are surrounded with opportunities to excel not only academically, but also in sporting, creative and civic domains. Our aim is for all students to experience success and to be challenged to do the best they can.

We welcome students from our local community as well as students who travel from further afield to engage in our specialist programs. With close to 1500 students, Robina State High School is the perfect size. Our student numbers allow us to offer breadth in our curriculum and the full range of extra- curricular activities and support programs for students. We are still small enough, however, to have a strong sense of community where students have personalised support and care.

It is hard not to be impressed when you visit the school. We boast excellent facilities including a three par golf course, baseball diamond, outdoor soccer field, gymnasium, tennis courts and a Performing Arts Centre. We offer a range of programs to support high achievement and our suite of signature programs support talent development and are renowned across the state. Our quality International program brings students from around the globe to Robina State High School and adds to our vibrant and dynamic culture.

We have an enthusiastic, highly trained and professional group of teachers and support staff who work hard to personalise learning and provide rigour, challenge, support and guidance to the young people in their care. Our four school values support our focus on learning and succeeding:

In 2019, we have a sharp focus on three key areas:

  • Students developing their self-awareness and self-management in relation to their own behaviours with a focus on prioritizing their wellbeing.
  • Students having the ability to use information and communication technologies to find, evaluate, create, and communicate information.​
