Instrumental Music is a co-curricular program where the lessons work in conjunction with the regular school timetable. Our program includes: 2* Concert Bands, 2* Stage Bands, String Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. These ensembles rehearse either before or after school, once a week.
Instrumental Music typically attracts high achieving students who seek opportunities outside of the classroom to enrich their education experience.
This program inherently teaches persistence, commitment and team work skills and fosters the ability to work towards a long-term goal which is beneficial in all aspects of life.
At Robina High, students can do it all. Many students successfully manage to fulfil their Instrumental Music commitments and pursue their sporting interests and are amongst the top achievers academically (including JIP).
Our Instrumental Music Program does have a fee involved that will be invoiced at the beginning of each year. Payment for the program will be required in full 4 weeks after invoicing occurs. No payment plans or Centrepay payments will be accepted. Students will be removed from program if full payment is not received by due date.
For more information regarding the Program Fee, please refer to the Subject Handbook relevant to your student’s year level or contact the program coordinator.
