ThinkUKnow Internet safety program

​Springbrook State School is hosting a ‘ThinkUKnow’ session for
parents, carers and community members on Friday, 26 April from
5.00-6.30pm.  ‘ThinkUKnow’ is an Internet safety program
delivering interactive training to parents, carers and teachers
through schools and organisations across Australia using a network
of accredited trainers.

 
‘ThinkUKnow’ Australia is a partnership between the Australian
Federal Police (AFP) and Microsoft Australia, and is now proudly
supported by ninemsn and DATACOM.


This is a session for adults and child minding will be available.  All
parents are urged to attend and learn how to ensure children’s
safety when using technology.  
 
The ‘ThinkUKnow’ website www.thinkuknow.org.au  provides
additional resources including fact sheets, an e-newsletter and
practical tips on protecting your family online.
