HSP is about learning to use English to read, write, speak and listen. Students are also introduced to the way we do Maths in school because sometimes it is not just about numbers. Someone from another country can be brilliant at Maths but when the problem is presented in English words sometimes the student can not understand so they are unable to get the correct answer. Students learn how to work in the science laboratory and write up an experiment. Some content in SOSE and Literature Studies is also covered so that when the students enter mainstream classes at high school they can manage the work set by the teacher.
